Acquired by the Historical Society in 1986. The Silver
Palm was previously converted to a
buffet/table car by the original Auto-Train service,
and remains as such today. (Both end restrooms
gone.) In addition to being a museum exhibit,
it is available for events, luncheons, etc. More

Zephyr Project Portola, CA - A program of the Feather River
Rail Society - "The mission of the project is to preserve
the history of the California Zephyr passenger
train and its people through the protection,
restoration and presentation of its artifacts,

Likely the last surviving D&RGW 10-6
sleeper. Renamed "La Coruña" by the Mexican Railroad.
In rough condition, but they do plan to restore
it. Rumored to be for sale soon.
